ERATH-A Mass of Christian Burial for Steven P. Vice Sr. will be 11:00AM Saturday November 14, 2015 in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Rev. Bill Melancon officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday November 13, 2015 in David Funeral Home of Erath from 9:00AM until 10:00PM with recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Saturday from 8:00AM until service time. Steven, born in Erath and a resident of Abbeville, passed away Wednesday November 11, 2015 in his residence. He loved fishing, French music, and long drives in the country. Spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren was the center of his world. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Beatrice Theall Vice of Abbeville; sons Steven Vice Jr. and fiancee Pamella Vincent of Erath, Trent Vice and wife Karen of Forked Island; daughters Elizabeth Deville and husband Daniel of Abbeville, Tina Istre and husband Edward Jr. of Abbeville; sisters Beverly Theall and Casa Vice both of Meaux, Dollie Babineaux of Erath;11 grandchildren and 8 step grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Chester and Alice Foreman Vice and a brother Farrell Vice Serving as Pallbearers will be Steven Vice Jr., Trent Vice, Daniel Deville, Edward Istre Jr., Jeremy Deville, and Cody Vice.
