Berna Mae Fruge

Lafayette - Funeral services for Berna Mae Fruge 90, will be held Thursday November 19, 2015 at 10:00 AM in David Funeral Home, with Fr. Bill Ruskoski Associate Pastor of Sacred heart Catholic Church officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Wednesday November 18, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 with a Rosary recited at 6:00PM and will continue Thursday from 8:00 AM until time of service. A native of Pont Blue LA and a resident of Abbeville Mrs. Fruge passed away Monday November 16, 2015 at Abbeville General Hospital. Survivors include her daughter Diana Fruge Rabassa and her husband Floyd of Erath; two sons Gerald and his wife Cecile Fruge of Scott, and Dean and his wife Nancy of West Lake LA., six grand children and ten great grandchildren; one sister Leona Grace LaFleur of Ville Plate. She was preceded in death by her parents Matthew and Celesta Dupuis Vidrine; her 10 siblings; and a great grandchild Travis Rabassa. Serving as pallbearers will be her three grandsons Matt Fruge, Kevin Fruge, and Todd Rabassa, her sons Gerald Fruge, and Dean Fruge, and her son-in-law Floyd Rabassa.
