Lennit J. Lancon, Sr.
June 1, 1927 — November 18, 2015
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 21, 2015, from 8:30 AM until 10:45 AM and a rosary will be prayed in the funeral home at 9:30 AM.
A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Lancon passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at 9:15 AM at his residence.
He was a Veterans of World War II having served in the U. S. Navy. He retired as a Salesman in the Oil Field Industry. He was a parishioner at St. Peters Catholic Church where he served as an Usher.
He is survived by his children, Maxine Lancon Hoffpauir of Lafayette; Lennit “Sonny” J. Lancon, Jr. and his wife Shelia of Loreauville and Joey Lancon of Erath and his grandchildren, Lennit J. Lancon, III, Brandi Lancon, Stormy Lancon and Tessie Lancon.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Dronet Lancon; his father, Clovis “Peg” Lancon; his mother, Jeanoria LeBlanc Lancon and his brother, Stanley Lancon.
