Jude Wayne "Doc" Leblanc

A gathering of family and friends will be held at David Funeral Home of Loreauville on Tuesday November 24, 2015 from 10:00am until 1:45pm with a recitation of the rosary at 11:00am.
A native and resident of Loreauville, “Doc” as he was affectionately known passed away on Thursday November 19, 2015 at 10:02pm at a local hospital. Mr. LeBlanc was a retired Purchasing Agent with Mallard, now Parker Drilling after 20 years of service. He also proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, skeet shooting, bowling, and watching TV in his later years. Above all he adored his grandchildren and spoiled them every chance he got.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 49 years, Georgine LeBlanc of Loreauville; son, Wayne LeBlanc Jr. and wife Angela of Loreauville; daughter, Julie Fenner and husband Brian of Spring, TX; grandchildren, Michael Sosa and Heidi LeBlanc both of Lafayette, and Megan LeBlanc of Loreauville; three brothers, Alvin LeBlanc Jr. and wife Brenda of Erath, Johnny LeBlanc and wife Karalee of Austin, TX. and Tommy LeBlanc and wife Paula of West Virginia; and one sister, Paulette Accardo and husband Joey of St. Amant, La.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin LeBlanc Sr. and mother, Lily Mae Judice LeBlanc.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Sosa, Heidi LeBlanc, Megan LeBlanc, Crystal Poirier, Steven Borel, and Joe Judice.
The family would like to thank the staff at Dauterive Hospital and Heart of Hospice for all of the care and compassion given to Mr. LeBlanc.
