Visitation will be on Friday, November 27, 2015, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and resume on Saturday, November 28, 2015, at 8:00 AM until 10:45 AM.
A resident of New Iberia and a former resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Guillotte passed away in Trinidad on Tuesday, November 17, 2015.
Monica’s smile could light up a whole room. Monica was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. Her granddaughters were the light of her life. Her love for the Saints was second to only the love of her family. Monica never met a stranger and always landed an ear and opened her heart. Her loving arms will be sorely missed. The best way to describe her is to say “she smiled her way through life”.
She is survived by her mother, Romona Comeaux Hebert of Jeanerette; her sons, Jeffrey Guillotte and his wife Heather of Youngsville and Victor Guillotte of Jeanerette; her brothers, Ronald J. Hebert, Jr. and his wife Johanna of Columbia, Maryland and Keith Hebert and his wife Liz of Kingwood, TX; her sister, Kay H. Mestayer and her husband Chris of Zachary; her grandchildren, Grace and Camryn both of Youngsville and her father-in-law,
Ronald J. Guillot, Sr of Jeanerette.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald J. “Possum” Guillotte, Jr.; her father, Ronald J. Hebert, Sr.; her maternal grandparents, Mr.& Mrs. Louis Comeaux; her paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Noe Hebert and her mother-in-law, Doris Guillot.
Pallbearers will be Ronald J. Hebert, Jr., Keith Hebert, Chris Mestayer, Nick Jumonville, Ross Hebert, Duane Derise, Ducky Pugh and Rodney Landry.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Hebert, Tane Hebert and Nick Hebert.
