James Estilette
June 30, 1955 — November 27, 2015
Visitation will be on Monday, November 30, 2015, from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and resume on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at 9:00 AM until 12:15 PM. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Monday at 7:00 PM.
A resident of New Iberia, Mr. Estilette passed away on Friday, November 27, 2015, at 8:07 PM upon arrival at a Eunice hospital.
Jim was a Commercial Account Manager with Project Consulting Services for 16 months. He was previously employed by Cameron International for 36 years and retired as the Eastern Region Sales Manager. He served in the U. S. Air Force and was a Veteran of the Viet Nam Era. He loved going to the Ragin Cajun games, camping and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Jim is survived by his wife of 37 years, Debra Pontiff Estilette of New Iberia; his son, Casey Moresi of New Iberia; his sisters, Mitzie Barras and her husband Roland, Carol Burke and her husband Cyrus all of New Iberia, Nanette Estilette of Spring, TX, Christine Naquin and Lisa Estilette both of New Iberia; his brothers, Eddie Estilette and his wife Peggy of Beaumont, TX, Robert “Bobby” Estilette and his wife JoAnn of Cypress, TX and Glenn Estilette of New Iberia; his grandchildren, Kylen Moresi of New Iberia, Kennedi Moresi of Lafayette, Taylor Moore of Kirkland, WA, Jake Delcambre, Sydney Delcambre and Ava Albers all of New Iberia; his brother-in-law’s, Roy Pontiff and his wife Linda of New Iberia and Marty Pontiff and his wife Michelle of Jeanerette; his sister-in-law’s, Peggy Landry and Jody Pontiff both of Jeanerette and his daughter-in-law Christine Moresi of Lafayette.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Estilette, Sr.; his mother, Annette Freeman Estilette; his sisters, Mary “Tiny” Rose and Yvonne Romero, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gilfred “Pete” and Lois Pontiff and his brother-in-law, Lynn Landry.
Pallbearers will be Kylen Moresi, Tyler Pontiff, Bobby Estilette, Jeremy Estilette, Casey Moresi, Marty Gautreaux, Eddie Estilette and Wayne Derise.
Honorary pallbearers will be Glenn Estilette, Roy Pontiff, Marty Pontiff and Cory Albers.
