Van Anthony Bergeron

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM and resume on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at 8:00 AM until1:45 PM. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Tuesday at 6:30 PM.
A resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Bergeron passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015, at 11:25 AM at his residence.
He was self-employed in the Oil & Gas Industry. He loved camping, cooking, hunting, fishing and LSU Football. He especially loved his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Bergeron of New Iberia; his father, Arthur J. Bergeron and his mother, Juliette Rosamond Bergeron of Jeanerette; his daughter, Nicole A. Bergeron-Munnerlyn and husband David of Lafayette; his sons, Van A. “Butch” Bergeron, II and his finacee’ Valarie LaCroix and Jake Rosamond Bergeron all of New Iberia; his brother, Kenneth Bergeron of Jeanerette; his sister, Phyllis Bergeron of Jeanerette and his grandchildren, Madison Cotone and Amelie Bergeron.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mac and Anna Mae Andre Rosamond; his paternal grandparents, Gussie Richard and Arthur Bergeron and his aunt, Gerri Rogers.
Pallbearers will be Jake Bergeron, Van A. “Butch” Bergeron, Jason Rosamond, Kenny Bergeron, Craig LaGaurd, Danny Verret, Tam Rosamond and Joey Rosamond.
Honorary pallbearers will be Terry “Sweet Pea’ Derise and David Munnerlyn.
