Carol Dow Frentz

Visitation will begin Friday morning at 10:00am and conclude at 1:45pm with a recitation of the rosary at 12:00pm.
A native and lifelong resident of Jeanerette, “Tot” as she was affectionately known, passed away on Tuesday December 1, 2015 at 10:18am at a Lafayette Hospital. She retired after over 30years as a Teller with First National Bank. “Tot” enjoyed going to the casino and watching her beloved Saints play on Sunday. But her greatest passion and what she was most known for was her “green thumb”. Whether it was tending to her flower garden or cutting the grass, she loved every moment spent beautifying her yard.
Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Elaine Zimmerman and husband Kerry “Ziggy” of Charenton, Carolyn Bacon of Jeanerette, and Marion “Dolly” Trahan and husband Bobby of Port Neches, TX.; nieces and nephews, Landi Zimmerman of Jeanerette, Quinn Z. Kahl and husband John of New Iberia, Jan Z. Sherville and husband Jeremy of Jeanerette, Grant Zimmerman of Lafayette, Jolyn Bacon of Hammond, Joanne Lowen and husband Chris of Amelia, John Bacon Jr. and wife Patricia of New Iberia, Tessie Landry and husband Todd, Beth Faucheaux and husband Brian, and Ron Bacon and wife Leslie all of Jeanerette, Martin Trahan and wife Tish, Brian Trahan, Valerie Falcon and husband Ray, and Kelly Novich and husband Neil all of Port Neches, TX; nineteen great nieces and nephews; and 5 great great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of seventeen years, Leslie Frentz; parents, Carroll and Louise Kelly Dow; and one brother-in-law, John Bacon Sr.
Upholding the honor of Pallbearers are Kerry “Ziggy” Zimmerman, Grant Zimmerman, Ron Bacon, Bobby Trahan, Brian Faucheaux, Todd Landry, and John Bacon Jr.
