Denise "Neenee" Segura

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home in Jeanerette on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 9:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM at David Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 8:00 AM until the time of service.
Denise was born in Lafayette on January 20, 1960 to Dudley Copp, Sr. and Octavia Derouen Copp.
Denise enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening and raising flowers. She also loved anything outdoors including riding motorcycles. She especially loved being with her family and was very devoted to her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years Lawrence Segura; mother Octavia Derouen Copp; daughters Monica S. Clement and husband Ceary Jr. of New Iberia, Wendy S. Guidry and husband Paul, Jr. of New Iberia and Amber Segura of Jeanerette; son Lance Segura and wife Amy of Jeanerette; brothers Ernest Copp of New Iberia, Dudley Copp, Jr. of Monroe and Paul Copp of Jeanerette; sisters Geneieve Segura of Jeanerette, Wanda Simon and husband Ricky of Jeanerette and Beth Segura and husband Terry of Jeanerette and 10 grandchildren,Ceary Clement, III. Branden Mergist, Layne Stevens, Eric Boudreaux, III., Hayden Clement, Ethan Clement, Hunter Rohrer, Landen Segura, Megan Stevens and Madisyn Segura.
She is preceded in death by her father Dudley Copp Sr., Paternal grandparents Euclide and Dalzire Copp and her maternal grandparents Elodie and Octave Deroun. Serving as Pallbearers are will be Ceary Clement, III, Brandon Mergist, Lance Segura, Ethan Clement, Tylor Curtis, Layne Stevens, Eric Boudreaux, III and Paul Copp.
Honory Pallbearers will be Landen Segura, Hunter Roher, Ceary Clement, Jr., Dudley Copp, Jr., Hayden Clement, Paul Guidry, Jr., and Ernest Copp You may signthe guest register book and/or condolences at www.davidfuneralhome.org.
