Billie Leveritt Disotell
October 5, 1941 — January 14, 2016
Visitation will begin on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 8:00 AM until service time.
A native of El Dorado, Arkansas and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Disotell passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 4:36 AM at a local nursing facility.
Mrs. Disotell can best be described as a cordial and pleasant woman. She enjoy socializing with her friends whether it be at church or playing Pokeno. She loved to be surrounded by her family and would often have gathering where she could cook and care for her family. She had a strong faith as a devout Baptist and was a member of Highland Baptist Church. She will be forever remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Tonya Disotell Corley & husband Keith, Mark Disotell & wife Stacie; granddaughters; Tiffany Corley Decoux & husband Russell Jr., Taylor Disotell, Rebecca Corley, Madison Disotell, Rylie Disotell; three great grandchildren, Mallory Decoux, Reece Decoux, Sophie Decoux; Sister, Becky Guillotte and husband Preston all of New Iberia; and one Brother, Richard Leveritt and wife Berea of Magnolia, AR.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Mallon L. Disotell; Father, William Leveritt; Mother, Mary Hilton Leveritt; Daughter, Melanie Disotell; and two Sisters, Wanda Leveritt Wiltz, and Dolores Estep.
Upholding the honor of Pallbearers are Mark Disotell, Brian Keith Corley, Russell Decoux, Jr., Preston Guillotte, Dustin Guillotte, and Ryan Wiltz.
The family would like to thank staff at Iberia Manor South and Hospice Compassus, and nurse Brandi Delcambre with Hospice Compassus for all of their care and compassion.
