Mrs. Romero was a Cafeteria Worker for many years within the Iberia Parish School Board. She was also a member of the American Rosie the Riveter Association, fulfilling her patriotic duty and doing her part to help during World War II. “Ca” enjoyed cutting her grass, playing cards with her friends, and going to the casino. What she enjoyed the most in life was to cook and prepare meals for her family, and spend time with them, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Being the compassionate woman that she was, Mrs. Romero often cared for the sick and elderly. Her kind hearted spirit and good-humored personality will be missed by many.
