ABBEVILLE-A Mass of Christian Burial for Audrey Ledet Broussard, 89, will be 1:00PM Monday January 25, 2016 at St. Mary Magdelen Catholic Church with Father Brian Harrington officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Paul Mausoleum. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Abbeville Monday January 25, 2016 from 9:00AM until service time with recitation of the rosary at 10:00AM. Audrey, a native and life resident of Abbeville, passed away Friday January 22, 2016 at Maison du Monde in Abbeville. She was a longtime member of St. Mary Magdelen Catholic Church and the Ladies Rosary Group. She enjoyed all types of dancing, especially line dancing. She loved spending time tending to her flowers, but her greatest love was a house full of family. She is survived by her children; Gale B. Mouton and husband Wallace of Abbeville, Jude Broussard and companion Julie Landry of Kaplan, Tommie Broussard and wife Sandra of Abbeville, and David Broussard and wife Judy of Abbeville, 6 grandchildren; Roxanne Burnette and husband Bill of Abbeville, Clay Jude Broussard and wife Tonya of Kaplan, Jarrod Broussard and wife Ashley of Milton, Travis Broussard, Taylor Broussard, and Hailey Broussard all of Abbeville, 8 great grandchildren; Dustin Hymel, Holly Hymel, “Little” Audrey Burnette, Gabbie Broussard, Justin Broussard, Malory Broussard, Madison Broussard, and Kaden Broussard. She is preceded in death by her husband Alvin J. Broussard, her parents Maurice and Laurentia Bergeron Ledet, a brother Maurice Ledet Jr., 6 sisters, Ella Frederick, Elise Harrington, Laura Bourgeois, Harriet LeBlanc, Anite Babineaux, and Lucy Guidry.
