Visitation will begin on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 1:00PM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will continue on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 8:00AM until service time.
A native of New Iberia and resident of Haslet, TX, Mr. Dorsey passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 11:33AM at his residence. Mr. Dorsey enjoyed traveling and riding his motorcycle with his wife and group of friends. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and step-father.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 13 years, Connie Broussard Dorsey of Haslet, TX; Step Son, Kalem Romero of Little Elm, TX; Daughter, Heidi Tolbert of Ragley, LA; Son, Heath Dorsey of Lake Charles; 3 Brothers, Al Dorsey of FL, Clet Dorsey of New Iberia, Wade Dorsey of New Iberia; 3 Sisters, Deborah Dorsey of New Iberia, Brenda Arnaud of Carencro, Alice Jones of New Iberia; and 3 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Joseph Dorsey II; Mother, Rita Mae Bourgeois Dorsey; Grandson, Joel Olivier; and Son, Blaine Dorsey.
Upholding the honor of Pallbearers are Wade Dorsey, Al Dorsey, Kalem Romero, Darren Duhon, Morris Thibodeaux, and Josh Clark.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mr. Dorsey’s honor to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105
