Gladys Leblanc Moss

Erath- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mrs. Gladys LeBlanc Moss, 91, on January 30, 2016 at 11:00AM at Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Bill Melancon to serve as the Celebrant.  Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.

Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 8:00AM until service time.

A native of Delcambre and resident of Erath, Gladys passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 2:22AM.  She enjoyed her coffee and supper club Socials.  She also enjoyed quilting, baking and was an excellent seamstress and cook who enjoyed family cook overs and trying new recipes. Mrs. Gladys was a well rounded and loving person to spend time with.  She will be deeply missed by those who loved her.

She is survived by a daughter, Ellen Boudreaux and her husband Donald of Erath; a son, Al Moss, Jr. and his wife Dean of Delcambre; a daughter in law, Tammy Moss of Lafayette; a sister, Rena Broussard; six grandchildren, Brodie Boudreaux, Shawnee Hebert, Jake Boudreaux, Eric Moss, Zachary Moss, and Chelsea Moss; seven great grandchildren, Lindsay Boudreaux, Brigg Boudreaux, Ali Hebert, Zane Hebert, Nate Hebert, Alina Moss, and Alyssa Moss.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Paul Moss, Sr.; her parents, Nedier LeBlanc and Elia LeBlanc; a son, Mark Moss; a daughter, Jennifer Moss; three brothers, Richard LeBlanc, Raoul LeBlanc, and Nedier LeBlanc, Jr. and a sister, Elaine Rodrigue,
