Alice Istre

LeBlanc - A graveside service will be held for Mrs. Alice Todd Istre, 75, on Monday, February 15, 2016 at 4:00PM at LeBlanc Cemetery with Marlene Lucas to serve as the celebrant.

A native of Lake Charles and resident of Erath, Mrs. Istre passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Our Lady of Lourdes  Hospital at 11:30AM. Alice lived for the love of her family and her grandchildren were the light of her life. She enjoyed camping and one of her passions was gardening.  She was deeply loved and will be missed.

She is survived by her son, Scott Gerard Istre and his wife Jo-Ellen of Abbeville; son, Carl Istre and wife Christy of Erath; son. Todd Renee Istre of Youngsville; and daughter, Tonya Istre Huval of Youngsville; and sister, Wanda Carpenter of DeRidder. five grandchildren, Eric Istre, Jordan Istre, Madison Istre, William Huval, and Isabella Huval.`

She was preceded In death by her husband of 45 years, Wilfred O. Istre; her  father, Wesley Todd; her mother, Oza Marie Simon; her sister Molly Soileau; and her brother Ernest Todd.

Upholding the honor of pallbearers are Carl Istre, Scott Istre, Todd Istre, Eric Istre, Jordan Istre, William Huval.
