Gloria Jean Angelle

Visitation will begin on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 8:30 AM until 12:45 PM. Visitation will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel.
A native of Granite City, Illinois and resident of New Iberia, Ms. Angelle passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 7:15AM at a local nursing facility.
Ms. Angelle was a Seamstress with Martin Mills for 24 years. She was an Outreach Leader with Interfaith Fellowship Church and was also a Prayer Chain Leader. She felt blessed to be a born again Christian and was a faithful follower of Christ.
Left to cherish her memory is her Sister, Theresa R. Moore and Husband Bobby of St. Martinville; Nephew, Francis Paul Firmin, Jr. and wife Christina of Pennsylvania; three Great Nieces, Kayla Theresa Firmin of Pennsylvania, Amanda Elizabeth Yazzie and husband Robert of Maryland, Jessica Marie Firmin of Pennsylvania; and two Great Great Nieces, Madison and Hailey both of Pennsylvania; and a Special Friend she always considered to be a Son, David Louviere of New Iberia.
She was preceded in death by her parents Robert Milton Angelle and Vera Virginia Starns Angelle.
Upholding the honor of Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
The family would like to thank Bridgeway Hospice, and the nurses and aids at Landmark of Acadiana Nursing Home for all of the care and compassion given to Ms. Angelle. The family would also like to thank David Funeral Home.
