Erath - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Jeanette Lachico Scott, 84, at 11:00AM on Monday, March 14, 2016 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Grand Calliou, LA with Fr. Alex Lazarra to serve as the Celebrant.  Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery in Grand Calliou, LA.

Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Monday, March 14, 2016 at Holy Family Catholic Church of Grand Calliou from 10:00 AM until service time.

A native of Houma and resident of Erath, Jeanette Lachico Scott passed away on Wednesday, March 09, 2016 at 5:30 AM at her residence.

She is survived by a son, Karen Scott of Arkansas; a daughter, Susan Hebert of Erath; three brothers, Douglas Lachico, John Lachico, and Roger Lachico; seven grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Scott; her parents, Isreal and Bertha Scott Lachico; a son, Albert J. Scott; a daughter, Sally Boudreaux; a brother, Jesse Lachico; a sister, Bessie Neal and two grandchildren.

Upholding the honor of Pallbearers are Paul Boudreaux, Eddie Boudreaux, Michael Hebert, Jr., Albert Scott, Timothy Guidry, and Joshawa Hebert.

Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Trey Hebert
