New Iberia- Funeral Services will be held for Christopher M Gore, 38, on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM at David Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Mike Walker. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in New Iberia.

Visitation will begin on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Christopher M. Gore passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 12:11 PM at his residence in New Iberia.

Christopher was a huge sports fan of basketball, baseball, football or anything to do with sports. He loved music and loved playing music. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Left to cherish Christopher’s memory is his father, Edwin Gore, Jr., mother, Virgina Gore, brother, Edwin Gore, III and Fiancé Teri, sister, Lisa Gore Acquazzino and husband Jay, of Katy, TX,  nephew, Alex Gore, of Youngsville, nephew, John Joseph Acquazzino, III of Katy, TX, niece, Jordan Gore, of Lafayette, uncle, Jimmy Gore and wife Diane of Lafayette, uncle, Jack Lamperez and wife Bessie of Philadelphia, PA, cousin, Kathleen Lamperez-Brito and husband Theo of New York, NY, cousin David Gore and wife Lucy of Prague, cousin,  Lesley Gore and husband Anthony of South Carolina, cousin,  Allison Gore of Lafayette and cousin, Michael Gore and wife Sonya, Lafayette.

Christopher is preceded in death by his maternal uncle, James Lea.

Upholding the honor of Pallbearers are Jay Acquazzino, Edwin Gore, III, Alex Gore, Jimmy Gore, William Burke and Micah Broussard.
