Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Fr. Jody Simoneaux officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Monday, March 28, 2016, from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM and resume on
Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at 8:00 AM until 9:45 AM. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral
home on Monday at 6:00 PM.
A native of Iberia Parish and a resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Landry passed away on
Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at 4:45 PM in Jeanerette.
She was a retired Cafeteria Worker for the Iberia Parish School Board. She loved working in her yard and loved birds and flowers.
She is survived by her children, Phyllis Camors and her husband Robert, Ronnie J. Landry, Kardell J. Landry and his wife Margaret, Amos D. Landry, Jr. and his wife Tina, Deena Napier and her husband Charles “Chuck”, Joey T. Landry and Dana J. Landry and his wife Ellen; her sister, Shirley Landry and her daughter-in-law’s, Jacqueline Landry and Joycelyn Landry all of Jeanerette. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 55 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Amos D. Landry, Sr.; her parents, Philip and Lucy Louviere Landry; her sons, Timothy Lee Landry, Jackie Paul Landry and Terrel Jerome Landry; her brother, Freddie T. Landry; her sister, Cecile D. Dooley and her daughter-in-law, Sydney Landry.
Pallbearers will be Robert Camors, III, Victor Camors, Chad Landry, Kardel Landry, Jr., Joey T. Landry, Jr., Phillip Landry, Jarrett Landry, Dexter Landry, Masey Mouret and Jake Landry.
The family would like to thank the staff with Hospice of Acadiana.
