ABBEVILLE-Memorial services for Dorothy Harkins Richardson,97, will be 11:00AM Saturday April 2, 2016 in David Funeral Home of Abbeville with Rev. Larry Maxwell officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00AM until service time at the funeral home.

Dorothy, a native and life resident of Abbeville passed away Thursday March 24, 2016 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette.

She is survived by her son, Glenn Richardson and wife Dee Dee of Abbeville;her daughter Kay Richardson Hebert and husband Larry of Lafayette; 4 grandchildren; David Richardson and wife Karen, Keith Richardson and wife Tammy, Stephanie Gaspard and husband Jade, Marci Elter and husband Chad, and 6 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband A.W. Richardson; her parents Willis and Lilly Harkins; her son Gerald Richardson; 3 brothers and 8 sisters.
