Presley Colomb

Erath- A Mass of Christian burial will be held for Presley Colomb, 79, on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Our Lady of the Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Bill Melancon officiating.  Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum in Erath.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 3:00PM until 9:00PM with the recitation of the Rosary at 7:00PM. The visitation will continue on Wednesday March 30, 2016 from 8:00AM until the time of the Service at 10:00AM.

A native and resident of Erath, Presley Colomb passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2016 surrounded by his family at his residence in Erath.

Mr. Presley enjoyed fishing, playing golf and camping but his passion was his family and friends as they were his life.

Left to cherish Presley’s memory is  his wife of 57 years, Anita Poirrier Colomb; his son Allen Colomb and wife Tammy of Laport, Tx; a daughter, Debra Broussard and her husband Eddie of Maurice, La; a son Karl Colomb and his wife Sherlyn of Erath, La; and a son Tyler Colomb of Lafayette, La;  two brothers Dalton Colomb and Lester Colomb, Sr. both of Erath; and one sister Louise Landry of Lafayette;  his grandchildren Andre’ Jenkins, Ashton Colomb, Tatum Broussard, Baily Broussard, Kevin Colomb, Kelsey Colomb, Myranda Landry and one great-grandchild Dredyn Jenkins.

Mr. Presley was preceded in death by his parents Andre and Annociade Colomb; two sisters Irene Dore and Velta Guillote;  brother John Colomb;  Baby Brek Michael Jenkins; and a Godchild Jane Guillote.

Upholding the honor of Pallbearers will be Allen Colomb, Tyler Colomb, Kevin Colomb, Eddie Broussard, Andre’ Jenkins, and Ashton Colomb.

The family would like to thank all who provided care from the Heart of Hospice.
