Gerald J. Pellerin, Sr.

New Iberia--Funeral Services will be held for Gerald J Pellerin Sr., 75, on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 1:00 PM at David Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Wade Broussard to serve as the Celebrant.  Interment will follow at Holy Family Mausoleum.

Visitation will begin on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 8:00 AM until service time.

A native resident of New Iberia, Gerald J. Pellerin, Sr. passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 11:10 PM at his residence.

Gerald is a retired member of the New Iberia Fire Department where he served the community of New Iberia for 28 years and had a small custom painting and woodworking business. Gerald loved to spend time with his family, cook, bake, flower gardens and also is known for his vegetable garden that he truly enjoyed.

Left to cherish the memory of Gerald is his wife of 43 years Geri Darby Pellerin; daughter,Tina M. Pellerin of New Iberia; son, Gerald Pellerin, Jr., Livingston; sisters, Barbara Pellerin of Berwick, Laura Pellerin of New Iberia and Beverly Penton and her husband Irvin of New Iberia; grandchildren Tyler Pellerin, Addie Pellerin, Kim Waldrop, Olivia Louviere.

Gerald is preceded in death by his father, Alfan Pellerin, his mother Lillie Mae Segura-Pellerin and his brother Richard Pellerin, Sr.

Upholding the honor of Pallbearers are friends and family.
