Teresa Thibodeaux Leblanc

Erath – A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Teresa Thibodeaux LeBlanc, 67, will be held at 1:00PM on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Bill Melancon officiating.  Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum.  Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 3:00PM until 8:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM.  Visitation will resume on Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 9:00AM until the time of the services.  A native of Henry and a resident of Erath, Mrs. LeBlanc was born April 11, 1948 and died at 9:33PM on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Kindred Hospital in Houston.  She was a devout catholic, wife, and mother who loved nothing more than spending time with her family.  Mrs. Teresa retired from nursing after years of working as a Pediatric Special Care Nurse who gave care to special needs children in their homes.  She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Bobby James LeBlanc of Erath; a son, Chad LeBlanc and his wife Robin Massey of Erath; a daughter, Tonia LeBlanc Langlinais and her husband John David of Erath; a brother, Micheal Thibodeaux and his wife Brenda; three sisters, Helen Libersat and her husband Nolan, Cherell Thibodeaux and her husband Emile, and Mary Ellen Carrigee and her husband Richard; and ten grandchildren, Logan LeBlanc, Luke LeBlanc, Channing Langlinais, Madelyn Langlinais, John Tyler Langlinais, Broc Hidalgo, Janson Istre. Ashton Istre, Ryan Sonnier, and Andrew Sonnier.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Celiva Waguespack Thibodeaux; a godchlid, Keith Edward Carrigee; and a niece, Susan Libersat.  Serving as pallbearers will be Logan LeBlanc, Luke LeBlanc, Broc Hidalgo, John Tyler Langlinais, Koby Carrigee, and Gerard Libersat.    David Funeral Home of Erath at 209 E.
