Marie Romero

Youngsville - A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. LeRoy Romero the former Marie Fabre, 93, will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday May 7, 2016 at St. Anne Catholic Church with Father Jason Mouton officiating. Interment will follow at St. Anne Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Friday May 6, 2016 from 4:00pm - 9:00pm with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00pm. Visitation will resume on Saturday May 7, 2016 at 7:30am until time of services.

A native of Abbeville and a resident of Youngsville, Mrs. Romero died at 11:39pm at her residence. She was a member of St. Anne Altar Society and was known for her love for her pets and her enjoyment of working outside with her plants. She especially loved being with her family.

She is survived by three sons, David Romero and his wife Sheila of Breaux Bridge, Huey Romero and his wife Verna of Scott and Larry Romero and his wife Pam of Milton; ten Grandchildren, eighteen Great-Grandchildren and six Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband LeRoy Romero; her adoptive parents, Wilfred and Marie Boudreaux; two brothers and five sisters.

Serving as pallbearers will be David Romero, Todd Babineaux, Larry Romero, Chad Romero, Kenneth Romero and Monica Johnson.
