Fay Moresi Foreman

Jeanerette – Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Albert J. Foreman, the former Fay Moresi, 86, on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at 1:30 PM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Jody Simoneaux officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, beginning at 9:00 AM until 1:15 PM and a rosary will be recited at 11:00 AM.

A native of Jeanerette and a resident of Lafayette, Mrs. Foreman passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at 3:30 AM in a Lafayette nursing facility.

She was a Mount Carmel Nun in “Sister Ann Marie O’Carm”. After leaving the Convent she taught elementary school in the Lafayette Parish School system.

Fay Moresi Foreman was a very kind and selfless lady always willing to help others. She was very loving and dedicated to her parents, Juanita Junca Moresi, Antoine Moresi and to her loving husband, Albert Joseph Foreman. Fay loved to sing and play her Ukulele.

She is survived by her brother, Gerald Moresi and his wife Merline of Broussard and numerousnieces and nephews whom she was never too busy to remember and help any time she could.

Fay loved family get togethers where she always brought a smile and a song.   Fay will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert J. Foreman; her parents, Antoine J. and Juanita Junca Moresi and her brothers, George Moresi, Lee Roy Moresi and Antoine J. Moresi, Jr.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dylan Moresi, Brian Jason Moresi, Michael Moresi, Lance Moresi, Keith Morril and David Moresi.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Moresi and Kevin Moresi.
