Wanda Romero

Coteau- Funeral services will be held for Wanda Breaux Romero, age 51, on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 1:00 PM Harvest Time Church with Pastor Ryan Derouen officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at David Funeral Home of New Iberia on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 9:00 am at the Harvest Time Church until service time.

Wanda Breaux Romero passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 9:30 pm out Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. She had been a lifelong resident of Coteau.

Wanda enjoyed cooking and crocheting. She also loved being with the children in her family and spending time with all her loved ones. She also was a member of a Bible Study Group and conducted children church for her church.

Wanda is survived by her husband of 21 months Erick Romero of Coteau, her father, Cleveland J. Breaux, Sr of New Iberia; son Brandon Hull and wife Taylor, daughter, Ashley Romero of Cade, daughter Heather Romero of Coteau, daughter, Amanda Romero of Brusly; brother, Jack Breaux of Coteau, sister,  Lucia “Tutt” Breaux of New Iberia;  grandchildren, Quinton Hull, Rowan Hull and Thomas Hull;  godchildren, Dominque Breaux, Jacque Breaux, Tia Breaux, London Breaux, Jamie Hebert, Brianna O’Brien and Cleveland Breaux, III.

She is preceded in death by her mother Judy M. Cheramie Breaux; sister, Lynn Harbsion and her brother Cleveland J. Breaux, Jr.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Hull, Dominique Breaux, Miguel Fage, Felton Breaux, Jr., Brandon O’Brien and Ralph St. Julian.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jacque Breaux, Quinton Hull, Rowan Hull, Thomas Hull, and C.J. Breaux, III.
