Rena "Nana" Judice

Loreauville – Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Milton Judice, the former Rena “NaNa” Laviolette, 91, on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Barry Crochet officiating. Readers for the mass will be Phyllis Pitre and Tamsyn Smith and Gift Bearers will be Libby Burleson-Porras, Carley Judice and Jackie Judice. Burial will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, May, 25, 2016, from 9:00 AM until 1:45 PM and a rosary will be prayed in the funeral home at 10:00 AM.

A native of St. Martinville, resident of Lafayette and a former resident of Loreauville, Mrs. Judice passed away on Monday, May 23, 2016, at 10:13 AM surrounded by her family.

She loved to cook and especially loved her family.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Milton Thomas Judice of Lafayette; her son, Terry Judice and his partner Frank Arceneaux of Lafayette; her granddaughter, Libby Burelson-Porras and her husband James of Austin, TX; her grandson, Philip Judice and his wife Carley of Lafayette; her daughter-in-law, Jackie Judice of Lafayette; her brother, Raymond Laviolette of Youngsville and her sister, Pauline Dugas of Lake Charles.

She was preceded in death by her father, Luke Laviolette; her mother, Adele Albert Laviolette; her siblings, Preston Laviolette, Gladys Dugas, Odebert Laviolette, Lester Laviolette, Percy Laviolette and Dalton Laviolette.

Pallbearers will be, Terry Judice, Frank Arceneaux, Philip Judice, James Burelson-Porras, Dennis Pitre, Jimmy Girouard and David Judice.

The family would like to thank her caregiver, Tamsyn Smith.
