ANN TRIMBLE MUNCY
Ann Trimble Muncy, 78 passed away on May 24, 2016 at 10:55 AM in Many, LA with her husband by her side. She was born on August 18, 1937 in Jeanerette, LA to Lawless James and Edith Marie Trimble.
Ann grew up in Patoutville, LA until she was five. She then moved to Jeanerette, LA where she graduated from Jeanerette High School. After high school she attended Spencer’s Business College in Lafayette, LA where she received an Accounting and Business Degree.
Ann married Don Muncy in 1956 in Lafayette, LA. They were happily married for 60 years. Ann was a member of her church’s UMW and sang in the choir. She enjoyed crocheting, traveling and being with her family.
Ann is survived by her spouse Don of Many, LA; her daughters, Teri Halverson and husband Duane of Tomball, TX, Donna Doise of Houston, TX and Sandra Vines of Cypress, TX; her grandchildren, Ashley Doise, Travis Halverson, Kelsey Halverson and Loudan Vines; her great-grandson, Christopher Baca; her nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Lawless James and Edith Marie Trimble; her brothers, Peter Able Trimble, Sr. and James Jay Trimble; her son, Dudley James Muncy and her son-in-law, Johnny Logan Vines.
The pallbearers will be Peter Trimble, Patrick Trimble, Duane Halverson, Travis Halverson, Loudan Vines and Zach Sandlin.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Clement, David Clement, Jr. and Chris Baca.
A funeral service will be held at David Funeral Home Chapel, 1101 Trotter St. in New Iberia, LA on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dick Hooten and Rev. Nathaniel Langford officiating. A visitation for the family will be on Saturday, May 28, 2016, from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM and the family will greet family and friends at 10:00 AM until the services. Burial will follow the funeral at Beau Pre Memorial Park Mausoleum at 7605 E. Old Spanish Trail, Jeanerette, LA 70544.
