Beulah Broussard Toups

Lafayette – A Mass of Christian burial for Beulah Broussard Toups, 96, will be held Wednesday June 8, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milton. Father Louie Richard Pastor of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Abbeville will officiate. Burial will follow in the church Cemetery.

Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00 PM and will continue Wednesday June 8, 2016 from 8:00 AM until time of service.

A lifelong resident of Milton, Mrs. Toups passed away Sunday June 5, 2016 at Pelican Point Nursing Home in Maurice. She loved cooking and feeding family and friends but her greatest joy came from holding all her grandbabies and great grandbabies.

Survivors include her son Paul Herman Toups and his wife Margaret of Milton, her daughter – in – law Geraldine Boudreaux Toups of Milton; four grandchildren Brent Toups and his fiancé Amie Miller, Sheri Pelletier and her husband Mike, Jamie Phillips and her husband Ashley, Chad Toups and his wife Deidre; twelve great grandchildren Erin Pelletier and her fiancé Hunter Robicheaux, Taylor Touchet and his wife Courtney, Michael Pelletier II, Logan Hebert, Justin Phillips, Macy Toups, Kasey Toups, Brandon Phillips, Parker Pelletier, Ryan Phillips, Bailey Toups and Tyler Miller. She is also survived by her three great great grandchildren Hayden, Peyton, and Laken Touchet.

Mrs. Toups was preceded in death by her husband Paul Eustis Toups; her son Charles Russell Toups; her parents Ulysse and Aline Vincent Broussard; and one sister Etta Rita Broussard Touchet.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brent Toups, Chad Toups, Justin Phillips, Kasey Toups, Brandon Phillips, Parker Pelletier, and Ryan Phillips. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Pelletier II, Taylor Touchet, Chester Trahan, Anthony Touchet, Frank Touchet, and Brian Baker.
