Erath – A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Sandra L Dore Hebert, 69, will be held at 2:30PM on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Bill Melancon officiating.  Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum.

Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 from 2:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM.  Visitation will resume on Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 8:00AM until the time of the services.

A native of Iberia Parish and a resident of Erath Mrs. Hebert died at 9:05PM at her residence.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Sandra was known for her love for her family and she enjoyed fishing and playing golf.  She was also a Member of The Demi Tasse Coffee Club and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority where she held several offices in both clubs.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Anthony “Tony” Hebert of Erath; a son, Todd A. Hebert and his wife Kristy of Erath; a daughter, Christine Anne Bourg and her husband Nicky of Erath; a brother, Paul “Buddy” Dore, Jr. of New Iberia; a sister, Jackie Dore of Youngsville; and six grandchildren, Nicholas Bourg, Brianna Hebert, Mia Bourg, Chase Mire, Kali Thompson, and Tyler Townsend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Adam Dore, Sr. and Anne Irene Landry Dore; and a sister, Paulette Dore.

Serving as pallbearers will be Nicholas Bourg, Chase Mire, Cole Schexnayder, Matt Hebert, Nicky Bourg, and Todd A. Hebert.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Chris Elmer, Matt Elmer, Brodie Theriot, Richie Theriot, Drew Callaway, and Hank Schexnayder.
