Willard Tommy "Julio" Woodby

Jeanerette – Funeral services will be conducted for Willard Tommy “Julio” Woodby, 58, on Monday, June 13, 2016, at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Fr. Jody Simoneaux officiating. Burial will follow in Beau Pre Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Sunday, June 12, 2016, from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM and resume on Monday, June 13, 2016, at 8:00 AM until 9:45 AM. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Sunday at 6:00 PM.

A native of Lampsas, TX and a resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Woodby passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016, at 9:35 AM at his residence.

He enjoyed gardening, cooking, especially Hot Tamales and was an avid Saints Football Fan.

He enjoyed being with family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Juanita Gonzales Verret of Jeanerette; his sisters, Madeline Hays and her husband Tom, Olivia Jolet and her husband Randy all of New Iberia and Jeanna Hamil and her husband Tim of Houma; his brothers, Ricky Verret and his wife Shantell, Ken Verret all of Jeanerette and Don Verret of Coteau Holmes and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willard Woodby and his step-father, Alvin “T-Nu” Verret.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Verret, Ken Verret, Don Verret, Tom Hays, Randy Jolet and Tim Hamil.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dusty Jolet and Johnny Gonzales.
