Deyna Hulin Champagne

Loreauville—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Deyna Hulin Champagne, age 50, on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 1:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Rusty P. Richard officiating. Interment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum in Loreauville.

Visitation will begin at David Funeral Home of Loreauville on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue Monday, June 13, 2016 at 9:00 AM until the time of service.

Deyna passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 3:32 AM at Lafayette General Hospital. She had been a lifelong resident of Loreauville.

Deyna loved to read, Facebook, spending time with her grandson Brantley, getting together with her entire family and friends and also she enjoyed her long time friend her cat “Alley”

Deyna is survived by her husband of 30 years Ricky Champagne; mother, Bertha Chastant Hulin; sons, Brody Champagne and Austin Champagne and grandson Brantley Champagne.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wilfred Hulin; maternal grandparents Evaulutre and Lucy Braquet Chastant and paternal grandparents Aurelien and Nita Romero Hulin and uncle, J.B. Chastant.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brody Champagne, Austin Champagne, Vince Dorsey, Henry Chastant, Blake Oubre and Chris Bourque.

Serving as honorary pallbears will be Brantley Champange and Randy Chastant.
