Floyd Thomas "Tommy" Picou, Jr.

Lafayette - Memorial Services for Floyd "Tommy" Picou, Jr., 53, will be 1:00PM Saturday June 18, 2016 at David Funeral Home of Lafayette with Chris Kerstine officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00PM until time of service.

Tommy, born in New Orleans and a resident of Youngsville, passed away Sunday June 12, 2016 in Plaquemine Parish. He was employed as an NDT Specialist with Bayou Testers, he loved his work. He was a loving husband, father and brother who never met a stranger.

He is survived by his sister, Sherry Whaley and husband Tim of Lafayette and their children, sister Junie Picou Kerstine and husband Chris of Kennesaw, GA and their children; son, Zachary Volkmann and wife Crystal of Youngsville; daughter, Meisha Volkmann of Milton; six granddaughters; life companion Toni Pickett of Youngsville and an honorary grandson, Hunter Gaspard of Youngsville.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Picou, Sr. and Amelia June Vidrine Picou and a brother, Michael Pounders.
