Deloria D. Carlisle

Jeanerette – Graveside services will be held for Deloria Derouen Carlisle, 88, on Monday, June 27, 2016, at 11:00 AM at Beau Pre Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 27, 2016, at David Funeral Home in Jeanette, from 8:30 AM until 10:30 AM.

A native and resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Carlisle passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016, at 7:10 AM in a Jeanerette nursing facility. She loved to crochet and be a mama to many dogs.

She is survived by her daughter, Glenda Henry Blackmon of Jeanerette and her brother, Russell Derouen of Houma.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J. R. Carlisle; her parents, Whitney and Noelie Escuriex Derouen and her sisters, Theresa Migues, Rita Broussard, Emma Belle “Pete” Hebert and Dora Jane”Coonie” Landry.

Pallbearers will be Dana Broussard, Eli Migues, Rodney Schexnayder, Alvin Cormier, Leonard Hollier and Don Anderson.
