Ransom Henry Hohorst, Sr.

LAFAYETTE-Memorial services for Ransom H. Hohorst Sr. ,76, will be 1:00PM Tuesday July 12, 2016 in David Funeral Home of Lafayette with Melvin L. Tisdale officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.

Ransom Sr. , passed away Saturday July 2, 2016 at his residence in Excelsior Springs, Missouri.

In his later years he spent most of his time serving those in need.

He is survived by his children; Claire M. Garcia and her husband Romeo of Fulshear, TX, Ransom H. Hohorst Jr. and wife Shelli of Lafayette, Karl F. Hohorst of Maurice, Marc F. Hohorst and wife Brenda of Bartlett, TN, Mary K. "Katie" Begnaud and husband Russell and David S. Hohorst and wife Amanda both of Maurice; 11 grandchildren, Angelle Malbouef, Jason Andrus, Michael Andrus, Shannon Andrus, Jenna Garcia, Ransom Hohorst IV, Rachel Meaders, Ryan Hohorst, Megan Hohorst, Blake Begnaud and Benjamin Hohorst; 5 great grandchildren Liam, Carter, Torin, Isabella and Ransom V

He was preceded in death by his parents Ransom Henry "Sam" and Claire Marguerite Labbe Hohorst; his aunt who raised him Aline Boutte; his granddaughter Ashley Hohorst and a great grandson Noah Hohorst
