Novella Marie Dore Hidalgo

Erath - Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 12, 2016 at 2:00PM at Our Lady of Lourdes
Catholic Church for Novella Hidalgo, 80, who died July 11, 2016 at Maison Du Monde.

Rev. Bill Massie will be officiating the services.  The visitation will be held at David
Funeral Home and the family is requesting visiting hours to be held from 9:00AM until the
time of services.

Novella was born in Erath and spent all of her life there.  She is survived by her
husband of 63 years Walter Hidalgo Sr., her daughters Cindy Hargrave, and husband Johnny;
Donna Hopson and husband Sam;  and her son Walter Jr. and his wife Danielle;  six grand
children Lauren Hargrave Landry, John Hargrave, Samuel “Trey” Hopson, Caroline Hidalgo,
Walter Hidalgo III and Rose Hidalgo and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Louis Dore’ and Aline Desormeaux; brothers,L.J.
Dore’, Sedie Dore’ and Raywood Dore’ and an infant daughter Denise Hidalgo.

Pallbearers will be grandsons; John Hargrave, Trey Hopson, Walter Hidalgo III and
godsons, Neil Dore’, Robert Dore’ and grandson in-law Troy Landry.

David Funeral Home of Erath at 209 E. Putnam St. (337) 937-0405 will be handling the
arrangements.
