Wanda Horton

Loreauville – Funeral services will be conducted for Wanda Robin Horton, 55, on Thursday, July 28, 2016, at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Barry Crochet officiating. Burial will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, from 9:00 AM until 10:00 PM and resume on Thursday, July 28, 2016, at 8:00 AM until 1:40 PM. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Wednesday at 6:00 PM.

A native of Arnaudville and a resident of Coteau Holmes, Mrs. Horton passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016, at 6:17 AM at her residence.

She was a retired Mail Carrier with the United States Post Office. She enjoyed reading, playing computer games, listening to Classic Country Saturday Night and was an avid Saints Football Fan. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Jeffery J. Horton; her daughter, Joni Lynn Horton and Tasha Rae Horton; her daughter-in-law, Mandy Dartez all of Coteau Holmes; her brothers, Chet Robin of New Orleans and Danny Robin of Loreauville; her sisters, Theresa Melancon of Parks and Brenda Robin of Carencro and her grandchildren, Kassidy, Keara, Kaylon, Kullon and Jaxen all of Coteau Holmes.

She was preceded in death by her father, Willis Robin; her mother, Ida Bernice Robin; her brothers, Mervin and Harry Lee Robin and her sister, Loretta Robin.

Pallbearers will be Marlon Daigle, Erick Arnaud, Chet Robin, Danny Robin, Brock Horton and Travis Migues.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brad Horton, Mandy Dartez and Kaylon Horton.
