Mae Louviere Dautreuil

New Iberia – Funeral services will be conducted for Mae Louviere Dautreuil, 99, on Friday, August 19, 2016, at 3:00 PM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ed Downs, Pastor of The First Baptist Church in New Iberia, officiating the funeral service. Burial will follow in the Nativity of Our Lady Mausoleum.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 19, 2016, from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM at David Funeral Home at 1101 Trotter St. in New Iberia.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Dautreuil passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016, at 2:30 AM in a New Iberia nursing facility.

She was a Charter Member of Highland Baptist Church. She loved crocheting, sewing, cooking and working in her yard.

She is survived by daughter, Helen D. Landry and her husband David of Youngsville; her grandchildren, Amy Delcambre, Bethany Shavell and her husband Michael all of Youngsville, Trey Landry of Lafayette and Norma Landry and her husband Connie of Delcambre; her great grandchildren, Madelyn Delcambre, Camille Delcambre, Abby Legnon, Ella Shavell all of Youngsville, Quinn Delcambre and his wife Amy, Jaci Comeaux and her husband Harley all of New Iberia, Miles Landry of Baton Rouge and Jad Landry and his wife Maci of Houston, TX and her great great grandchildren, Presley Delcambre, Maveric Delcambre both of  New Iberia and Savanah Landry of Houtson, TX.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oray Dautreuil; her father, Vidaird Louviere; her mother, Mary Judice Louviere; her daughter, Barbara Waguespack; her brothers, Milton Louviere and Maurice Louviere; her sister, Marie Babineaux and her grandchild, Sherry Gondron.

Serving as pallbearers will be her family members.

The family would to express a special thank you to her caregiver, Pearl Etienne and the staff at Consolata Nursing Home.
