Pat Flatt

Youngsville- Funeral services honoring the life and legacy for Mr. Pat Flatt, age 48, will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at First Baptist Church, 623 Lafayette St., Youngsville, La. 70592. Rev. Chris Fuselier will be conducting the service. A gathering of friends and family will be held before the service from 9:30AM until the time of service at First Baptist Church.

With his loving family by his side, Mr. Pat went home to be with the Lord Jesus at 4:45PM on August 15, 2016. A resident of Youngsville and a member of First Baptist Church, Pat gave his life to the Lord five years ago. Pat was always very charismatic and outgoing with a great sense of humor. Upon graduating from USL with a bachelors degree, Pat had a very successful career in the oil and gas industry with an “ I can sell anything attitude”. He was also a PGA accredited pro golfer and took many of his potential clients for a round of golf to close business deals and establish relationships. His polite, well mannered, and selfless personality can be seen through his children as his family was his passion. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his mother Darlene Flatt; his daughters, Leigh Anne Flatt and Olivia Flatt; grandchildren Cooper Nick and Nate Nick and a brother Jon Flatt.

He is preceded in death by his father, Earl Brown Flatt.

A special thanks to his best friends Butch Nolan and Keith Guidry who were there for him through every season of his life. Also the family was grateful for Hospice of Acadiana, especially his nurse, Judith Crowder and Dr. Shirley Covington.
