Mary Kennedy

Jeanerette – Funeral services were conducted for Mary Foco Kennedy, age 68, on Saturday, September 3, 2016, at David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Jody Simoneaux officiating.  Burial followed in the Beau Pre Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Visitation was held privately on Saturday, September 3, 2016, with a recitation of the Holy rosary.

A native and resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Kennedy passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016, at 8:454 AM at Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ronald Kennedy of Jeanerette; her daughter, Lorie K. Thibodeaux and her husband Richard of New Iberia; her sons, William and Raydell Kennedy both of Jeanerette; her grandson, Brayton Kennedy of New Iberia; her sisters, Gail Thibodeaux and her husband Adolph, Janie F. Savoie and her husband Bert all of Jeanerette and Ellen Ayers of Austin, TX and her friend, Angela Segura of New Iberia.

She was preceded in death by her father, Allen Foco; her mother, Doris Porier Foco and her sons, Ronald Kennedy, Jr. and Jerry Vale Kennedy.

Family and friends served as pallbearers.
