Lafayette-Funeral Services for Mrs. Cathy Vallot, 61 will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Our Saviors Church, on 1201 E. Broussard Rd. Pastor Jacob Aranza will be officiating the services and interment will follow at St. Anne’s Mausoleum in Youngsville.

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Monday, September 12, 2016 from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM, with a recitation rosary at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 8:00 AM until the time of services at 2:00 PM.

Mrs. Vallot was born on August 5, 1955 in Lafayette, LA. Her life work was caring for her children, grandchildren and others in time of need. She was always ready to reach out and lend a helping hand.  Mrs. Vallot enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren in their talents. She also enjoyed playing bingo. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Mr. Mike Vallot, son, Chad Anthony Vallot and his wife Renee’, daughter, Michelle Renee Savoy, son, Joey Craig Vallot and his wife Rebecca, grandchildren, Chase Vallot, Hunter Savoy, Lane Savoy, Carley Vallot, Zoe Vallot, Leah Reed, sisters, Jacqueline Vallot, Sandra Kober, Pam Keller, and her mother, Ella Mae Rogers Duplein of Lafayette.

She is preceded in death by her father, Roland Begnaud, brother, Jackie Begnaud, father-in-law, Alpha Vallot Jr. and mother-in-law, Dorothy Vallot.

Upholding the honor as pallbearers are Joey Vallot, Hunter Savoy, Lane Savoy, Chase Vallot, Chad Vallot, and Ronnie Vallot Jr.

David Funeral Home of Lafayette at 316 Youngsville Hwy (337) 837-9887 will be handling the arrangements.
