Rosemary Cormier

New Iberia – Memorial services will be conducted for Rosemary Mendoza Cormier, 69, at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 30, 2016, at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church with Father Mario Romero officiating.

Born in Lafayette, Mrs. Cormier passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at 7:20 AM in a New Iberia nursing facility.

She was a retired Security Guard and loved fishing, crabbing, the outdoors and her dog, Gracie.

She is survived by her husband, Gabriel Cormier, Sr.; her sons, Gabriel Cormier, Jr. and his wife Becky and Karl Cormier and her grandchildren, Noah Shank, all of New Iberia

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Mendoza, Sr. and Bernadette Chaisson Mendoza; her brother, Eddie Mendoza, Jr. and her sister, Gaylen Lopez.
