Betty Ann Hebert

New Iberia – Funeral services will be conducted for Betty Ann Dupuy Hebert, 83, on Thursday, September 22, 2016, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Deacon Chris Doumit officiating. Burial will follow at the Holy Family Mausoleum.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and resume on Thursday, September 22, 2016, at 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Wednesday by the Men’s Rosary Group at 7:00 PM.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Hebert passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2016, at 11:32 AM at Iberia Extended Hospital in New Iberia.

Mrs. Hebert loved spending time with family, attending family gatherings and her birthday parties. She also loved talking on the phone and dining out.

She is survived by her children, Kim Hebert, Sr. and his wife Winona, Joey Hebert and his wife Tracy, Burley Hebert, Jr., Bonnie Pommier and her husband Tommy, Bobbie Maturin and her husband Bobby, Robbie Babineaux and husband Chad and Betty Jo Freeman and her husband Darrin; her step-sisters, Joyce Cartimilgia and Linda Delahoussaye all of New Iberia; twenty-three grandchildren and thirty-four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Burley Joseph Hebert, Sr.; her father, Henry King Dupuy; her mother, Noemie Segura Dupuy; her step-parents, Essie and Ellie Boullion; her son, Derrell Hebert, Sr.; her grandsons, Shawn Hebert and Jeremy Maturin; her sister, Gloria Buchanan and her step-brother, Ralph Dupuy.

Serving as pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Derrell Hebert, Jr., Kim Hebert, Jr., Jessie Viator, Shane Hebert, Burley Hebert, III, Jake Hebert, Dustin Babineaux , Darrin Freeman and Grant Guillotte.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Kim Hebert, Sr., Burley Hebert, Jr., Joey P. Hebert, Tommie Pommier, Bobby Maturin, Chad Babineaux, Darrin Freeman and Andre Guillotte.
