Dallas Charles Broussard, Sr.

Lafayette - A Mass of Christian Burial for Dallas Charles Broussard, Sr., 76, will be held 4:00PM Thursday September 29, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Bill Ruskoski officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Mausoleum. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Lafayette Thursday September 29, 2016 from 9:00AM until service time.

Dallas, born in Youngsville and a resident of Broussard, passed away Wednesday September 28, 2016 at his residence. He was employed with Elks Concrete for 52 years. After his retirement he enjoyed his farm raising cattle and other wildlife. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Annie Lee Richard Broussard of Broussard; his children, Lucille Broussard Boudreaux and her husband Ted of Youngsville, Anna Broussard Theriot and her husband Randy of Broussard, Betty Jane Broussard of Youngsville, Madonna Lynn Broussard of Broussard and Dallas Charles Broussard, Jr. of Broussard; three brothers, Harold Broussard of Maurice, James Paul Broussard of Youngsville, Eldes Charles Broussard, Jr. of Youngsville; sisters, Mary Mouton of Lafayette, Mildred Seaux of Lafayette, Gayle Hayes of Broussard and Barbara Romero of Youngsville; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Trent, Dwan, Michael, Jarid, Leanna, Kara, Sierra, Charles, Joshua, Alisha, Lori Ann, Taylor and Tyler; 20 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eldes and Maveline Romero Broussard, Sr.; 3 brothers, Carol Charles Broussard, Ellis Wayne Broussard and Darrel Charles Broussard; grandson, Jeremy Keith Theriot.
