Laura Mae Thibeaux

ERATH-A Mass of Christian Burial for Laura Mae Thibeaux, 81, will be 11:00AM Monday October 3, 2016 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Andre Metrejean officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery. Visitation will at David Funeral Home of Erath Saturday October 1, 2016 from noon until 10:00PM and Sunday October 2, 2016 from 8:00AM until 10:00PM with recitation of the rosary at 6:00PM and will resume Monday from 8:00AM until service time.

Laura, born in Abbeville and a resident of Erath passed away Friday at Abbeville General Hospital.

She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She retired from the Vermilion Parish School Board as a Cafeteria Technician after ten years of service. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her children; Michael Thibeaux Sr. and wife Mary of Erath, Ricky Thibeaux Sr. and wife Phyllis of Kaplan, Sandra Lege and husband Larry of Erath, Dale Thibeaux and wife Kelly of Lafayette, and her sister Naomie Trahan of Abbeville; 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild

She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Adam Thibeaux, her parents Nelson and Aglaee Faulk Broussard Sr., 7 brothers and 2 sisters

Serving as Pallbearers will be Travis Thibeaux, Eddie Thibeaux, Gordon Lege, Joey Thibeaux, Johnathon Dartez, and Louis Trahan Jr.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Ryan Thibeaux, Michael Thibeaux Jr., Ashley Thibeaux, and Ricky Thibeaux Jr.
