New Iberia – Funeral services will be conducted for Albertine “Tina” Stoltz Ronsonet, 88, on Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at 10:00 AM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Elroy A. Tesch, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Beau Pre Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Visitation will be on Monday, October 3, 2016, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and resume on Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM.
Albertine “Tina” Stoltz Ronsonet passed away peacefully at her residence on September 30, 2016. She was a native from New Iberia and was born on October 9, 1927. She graduated from New Iberia Senior High School as valedictorian of her class. Working as an employee at the “Old American Department Store” she met Willis Ronsonet who had just returned from WWII. Later on May 29, 1947 Willis would become her husband and to this matrimony seven children were born. She was a devoted and active member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church where she enjoyed teaching the youth about faith. Albertine was an avid gardener and also enjoyed preparing Sunday meals for her family. She retired as the Laundry Supervisor at Heritage Manor North Nursing Home for 22 years.
She is survived by her children; William Ronsonet and his wife Rosemary of Lydia, Kenneth Ronsonet and his wife Denise of St. Martinville, Susan Mills and her husband Tim of Vandalia, IL, Cynthia Faulk and her husband Charles of Broussard, Leslie Ronsonet of New Iberia, Angela Bayard and her husband Eric of New Iberia; her sister, Betty Dupuis of Bossier City; seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Willis Ronsonet; her parents, Benjamin “Ben” Stoltz and Zulmi Blanchard; her son, David Ronsonet; her brothers, Ben Anthony “Bud” Stoltz and George Stoltz and her grandson, Benjamin Faulk.
Serving as Pallbearers will be William Ronsonet, Kenneth Ronsonet, Eric Bayard, Jason Faulk, Charles Faulk and Bailey Bayard.
Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Seth Ronsonet, Lyndsey Ronsonet, Benjamin Bayard, Cody Guidry, Matthew DeRouen and Andy Mills.
