Antoine "Boy" Leblanc

November 22, 1938 — October 4, 2016

Loreauville – Funeral services will be conducted for Antoine “Boy” LeBlanc, 77, on Thursday, October 6, 2016, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Barry Crochet officiating. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 5, 2016, from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM and resume on Thursday, October 6, 2016, at 8:00 AM until 10:45 AM. A rosary will be recited in the funeral home on Wednesday at 7:00 PM.

A native of Catahoula and a resident of Loreauville, Mr. LeBlanc passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at 7:41 PM at his residence.

He was a boat skipper and cook for Berard Brothers, Ed Broussard Marine and Mallard before becoming disabled. He enjoyed fishing, camping, crafts-making and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sherline Albert LeBlanc; his daughters, Annette Dugas and her husband Ward “Butch” Dugas, Jr., Holly LeBlanc and her companion David LaJaunie, Rose LeBlanc and her companion Antoine Perez, III; his son, Marty LeBlanc and his wife Vivian; his grandchildren, Dustin Dugas, Aaron LeBlanc, Courtney LaJaunie, Shannie LeBlanc, Erica Perez and Therin LeBlanc; his great grandchildren, Natalie Prejean, Landon Charpentier, Erilyn Dugas and Liam Charpentier all of Loreauville; his sister, Oline Guidry and her husband Raymond of Catahoula; his brothers, Murphy LeBlanc and his wife Hazel of New Iberia and Gabriel “Gabe” LeBlanc and his wife Louella of St. Martinville; his brothers-in-law, Ronald Albert and his wife Gloria of Loreauville and Johnny Albert, Jr. and his wife Frances of Loreauville and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gabriel LeBlanc and Yola Latiolais LeBlanc; his sister, Donna LeBlanc; his brothers, Percy LeBlanc and Wilson LeBlanc, Sr.; his mother-in-law, Rose Chataignier Albert and father-in-law, Johnny Albert, Sr.

Serving as pallbearers will be his son, Marty LeBlanc, Aaron LeBlanc, Therin LeBlanc, Dustin Dugas, Cody Prejean and Brody Charpentier.

The family would like to extend a special than you to AAA Home Health nurses and Acadian Hospice nurses.
