Renee Callicott

New Iberia- A Celebration of Life will be held for Ms. Renee Callicott, age 53, on Friday, October 21, 2016 at  2:00PM at David Funeral Home Chapel of New Iberia with Louis Driggers to serve as the Celebrant.  Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will begin on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 10:00AM until 1:45PM.

A native of Corpus Christi, TX, and resident of Irving, TX, Ms. Renee Callicott passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016 at her residence.

Renee always had a love for the outdoors.  She enjoyed camping, RVing, and Traveling.  When she was not at a campsite or on the open road she could be found in the kitchen. Renee was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meal for her family.  Her family was very important to her, and she loved spending time with them.  She will be deeply missed by all that were lucky enough to know her.

Left to cherish her memory is her Husband, Mike Mitchell of Irving, TX; Mother, Betty Frances Driggers and husband Louis of Live Oak, FL; Son, Jesse Crawford of Dallas, TX; Daughter, Ashley Lopez and husband Michael of Frisco, TX; Son, Casey Crawford of Dallas, TX; Step-Son, Nathan Mitchell of Grapevine, TX. Grandchildren, Ethan and Chandler Crawford; Brother, Richard Callicott and wife Deborah of Spring Cove, FL; Sister, Marcia Romero and husband Gene of New Iberia; Sister, Jeannie Collins and husband Neil of New Iberia; and numerous nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Father, James Richard Callicott.

Upholding the honor of Pallbearers will be members of the family.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Neil Collins, Gene Romero, Richard Callicott, and Nathan Mitchell.
