Clint Dupuis

New Iberia- Funeral services will be held for Clint Dupuis, age 56, on Thursday October 27, 2016 at 10:00am at David Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Perkins to serve as the Celebrant. Interment will follow at Beau Pre Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held on Thursday morning from 9:00am until the time of the service.

A native of New Iberia and resident of Lafayette, Clint passed away on Tuesday October 25, 2016 at 10:12am at a Lafayette hospital.  Clint enjoyed being outdoors, sitting of the porch and swinging. Like many in Louisiana, he loved to eat and his favorite was when his sister would bring him Sunkist soda and malts. He was a fan of Wreck-it Ralph, and even had a plush toy of Ralph to keep him company.  Clint also enjoyed the time he spent with his family and enjoyed looking at photos on his sister’s phone or going for a ride.  He always enjoyed a good laugh and was always smiling.  He taught his family how to enjoy the simple things in life, and they will miss him dearly.

Left to cherish his memory are his sibling, Miles Dupuis and wife Bonita of New Iberia, Melissa Derise and husband Jimmy of New Iberia, Ricky Dupuis and wife Chick of New Iberia, Tabitha Hebert of Lydia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Titus and Betty Derouen Dupuis.

Upholding the honor of Pallbearers are James Ainsworth, Tabitha Hebert, Miles Dupuis, Ricky Dupuis, Nicole Segura, and Chad Segura.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Melissa Derise, and Andrea Ainsworth.

The family would like to thank the staff of the ICU at Lafayette General Southwest, Dr. Williams, Dr. Romero, and Mr. Kenny at Arc of Acadiana for all of their care and compassion. The family would like to also thank their sister, Tabitha for always looking out and caring for their brother. And a special thanks to David Funeral Home for their care and guidance through this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Clint’s honor can be made to the United Way of Acadiana, 215 E Pinhook Rd, Lafayette, LA 70501.
