Anna Lee Robicheaux Boone Abshire

Lafayette– Funeral services for Anna Lee Robicheaux Boone Abshire, 76, will be 10:00AM Wednesday November 30, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Youngsville. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in New Iberia, La.

Visitation will be in David Funeral Home of Lafayette, Tuesday November 29, 2016 from 5pm to 8pm.

A native of New Iberia, La. and resident of Youngsville, La. Mrs. Abshire passed away on Wednesday November 23, 2016.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Elwood John Abshire, 4 children, 14 Grandchildren, and 13 Great-grandchildren and an abundance of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Leeward and Anna Mae Bourque Robicheaux; One sister Jeannette Robicheaux Theriot ; Grandparents, Noah and Amelia Leblanc Robicheaux, Brothers in-law Joseph 'Chip' Theriot, and Rivers Francis Rivette

Pallbearers will be Jake Brower, Sr., Caleb Brower, Noah Brower, Jay Whittenberg, Jason Bourque, Phil Bonner, Treynan Pillette, and Alex Eubanks.

The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to her caregivers of Maison De Lafayette and to Heart of Hospice for the care shown during her illness and in her final weeks.
